as a fan i know there is no short supply of breakcore but this up-and-coming artist has a nice sound. this is a well-structured, refreshing addition to the genre. the opening track is my favorite, it's really great.

Alive 2020

mixtape that came with the Hit Vibes 2020 repress. my true introduction to Skylar Spence/Saint Pepsi. showcases his raw talent and sound. mixes up some familiar classics, recent hits, prior Saint Pepsi songs and previously unreleased Skylar Spence demos. At one point he mixes Daft Punk with Hall & Oates. i highly recommend this one.

RePorpoised Phantasies

i listen to this one all the time. it's my favorite machine girl album and sound. it's like a fucked up sonic cd soundtrack. the kind of album that makes you just wanna move something. that Merky ACE remix is crazy.

13 Songs (Compilation)

i'm a sleeper punk so i love punk rock. between ian mackaye's vocals, joe lally's groovy basslines and brendan canty's drum fills, it's hard not to love this one. songs like Suggestion and Burning Too remain relevant in their commentary. Waiting Room and Bad Mouth both sound like words of advice coming from a friend. sometimes songs come off as forgetabble or cliché, but that's minor. at it's least, it's a solid album with a few earworms.
